Project 46 & DubVision’s emotive “You & I” turns 4 years old

Project 46 and DubVision both hold catalogs of dance music tracks that reflect the upper end of the quality spectrum. Carrying with timeless vibes, their collaboration four years ago on “You & I” is an exemplary track of such characteristics and effect.

The Dutch duo of DubVision, formally known as Stephan and Victor Leicher, are notable for their uplifting and blissful progressive house tracks. To name a few, their portfolio includes the releases of some of Spinnin’ Records most notable hits such as Martin Garrix’ edit of “Backlash”, “Turn It Around” and “Heart”. Distinctive with their remixes also, DubVision have an esteemed reputation for the delivery of their musical craftsmanship. Backed up by their recent remix of Axwell/\Ingrosso’s “Thinking About You“, their future will be one we’ll always keep an eager eye out for.

The Canadian DJ/Producer duo, Project 46, have amassed an almost cult like status with their loyal fan-base in recent times. Their legendary ‘Pancake Fridays’ which would see a new original, bootleg or remix every Friday is still revered to this today. Reflective of their deep passion and ingrained skill, the duo, formally known as Thomas Shaw and Ryan Henderson, were one of the first acts to have what can be deemed a puristic album. Made by them for their fans, not with many other for the charts, so to speak. With hits such as “Last Chance” with Kaskade, “Reasons” and “Collide” with Laidback Luke, they’ve previously held residencies in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Waterloo.

Coming both a short and long format, “You & I” is one of the finest example of melodic progressive house from the start of this decade. Releasing four years ago, no doubt many of you will feel a twinge of reflection to previous years associated with the track and its sumptuous composition.
