Sebastiaan Hooft feat. Krysta Youngs – This Is

Sebastiaan Hooft has teamed up with Krysta Youngs for the latest addition to his expanding portfolio, “This Is”. A delectable musical composition, this track is evidence that summer vibes can long continue without the presence of the season.

Based in Amsterdam, the DJ/Producer’s career has a more unique story to most of his peers. Using an orientation around well-being, his passion for the genre ties into a more holistic approach to the creation of electronic dance music. Having been at the helm of over 20 companies for 15 years prior to his endeavor into the industry, the late-bloomer is certainly proving good things can take time. Sourcing inspiration from his consequential travels, he had already gained top 10 status on Itunes and Beatport. A resident act at his city’s iconic club, Club NL, he’s had performances behind the decks across a wide array of European cities.

Joining his infectious atmosphere, Krysta Youngs lays out a vocal layer worthy of continuing Sebastiaan Hooft’s international radio exposure. Hailing from Los Angeles, the prestigious Berklee graduate has performed across the United States. Now starting to fine-tune her distinctive tone, her output includes alternative pop that has featured on the likes of MTV, ESPN and even Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Emotive in essence, she captivates ears from the outset.

Continuing his matured synth tastes, Sebastiaan Hooft has formed an instrumental sequence that enabled the lyrics to integrate seamlessly. Plucky in chords and sharp in nature, the secondary melodies reflect a refined ear and mark of quality. Drawn under-layers help maintain a continuity, the track is undoubtedly one of our favorite melodic pieces this quarter.

Releasing on Warmth Music, it has already charting on the Hypeddit Top 100 for several days. You can listen to track in all its glory below!
