Zedd & Grey – Adrenaline

Zedd has gone from impressive start out, to rising talent, to what is now an established status. The young Russian-German has been one of the more characterful and engaging artist’s in the scene, with his ever-present human touch. Whether it be cheeky clips on social media, or supporting Kesha during her ongoing drama with Dr.Luke, Zedd has made hima  fan favourite.

Delving into a new sound for his birthday, he has paired up with duo, Grey, once again for his latest work “Adrenaline”. His hardest hitting track to date, the quick instrumental blast fuses pulsating bass with symphonic melodies alongside soaring sirens. In dramatic contrast to the more delicate “Starving” with Grey and vocals from Hailee Steinfeld which was released only last month, Zedd himself has said his eagerly waited second album is likely set for a 2017 release date.

Also bringing vibrant and eye-catching artwork, “Adrenaline” is fusion of tribal drums and tones with bellowing synths. Ominous in effect in the introduction, the emerging flurry of electro chords bring an edgier dynamic to the track. Winding down to build back up, the air of tension increases masterfully. Overall reflecting the high-end production and quality both Grey and Zedd bring.
