Bruno Mars announces new album with productions from Skrillex is complete

A few months ago, Skrillex confirmed that he has begun collaborating with American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars. In an interview with Billboard, he revealed that he is producing some of Bruno Mars’ tracks on his upcoming album, stating that, “What we’re doing is so f–king different, awesome and next level and sounds like nothing else that’s happened before”.

The OWSLA founder and the R&B artist have both been quiet regarding their collaboration until Bruno Mars recently announced that his new album is finally complete. Skrillex is renowned for teaming up with some of the industry’s biggest names such as Justin Bieber and Rick Ross and joining forces with Bruno Mars would certainly solidify his status as one of the most versatile producers in the business.

According to Complex, “The two have hit the studio together for Mars’ upcoming third LP”. Skrillex then stated, “I’m joining him for his album. Who knows if I’ll do something that’s more of a Skrillex thing with him, but he has a vision for his album, and I’m helping him produce it on some of the songs,” he says. “It’s incredible. He’s my favorite songwriter to work with, and he’s the most fun guy to be in the studio with”.

The title and release date for Bruno Mars’ upcoming album is yet to be revealed but we will keep track and provide more updates once more information arises. Bruno Mars also announced that his first single from the album “24K Magic” is coming out this Friday, October 7th.
