Dirty South – Drift

For those who’ve been on the look out of recent, Serbian/Australian producer Dirty South has slowly been dropping singles and he has now just released his latest anthem ‘Drift‘. Following last week’s launch of his new monthly radio show, Dirty South opened the episode by premiering the new track.

From the more emotive and less dance floor driven “With You,” which showed a complete departure from what fans were used to the beautiful “Find A Way” , which brought a blend of this more melodic emotional sound with the typical progressive sound, Dirty South’s prolonged track record maintain his status as a key player in Progressive House and as one of the scenes most beloved figures. And that’s not to say that he is running out of output as we’re here to discuss the latest release.

Building slowly and steadily throughout the break, ‘Drift‘ is progressively textural, with a relentless and nostalgic rift and divine pads. It truly channels the hypnotic energy of Dirty South’s music, and retains the progressive backbone of his unique style. And whilst the wait for more Dirty South material continues, this latest production will certainly satisfy the taste buds of fans as we wait in eager anticipation for more new music from this musical mastermind.
