Martin Garrix takes on the ‘Hot Ones’ challenge

Martin Garrix has become renowned around the world for his eagerness to push boundaries and expand his horizons. This ambition he possesses is what enabled him to gain vast prominence within this industry and to earn the respect of not only his fans, but also his fellow artists.

As a result of his hard work and passion, the Dutch sensation recently became the world’s best DJ according to the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s poll. This award is quite a huge accomplishment for any talent in the dance music scene and Garrix has finally received the spotlight he rightfully deserves by claiming the top of the mountain.

Aside from music, the young producer also enjoys experimenting with various ventures. One particular event that has caught the world by storm was when Garrix tried taking on the ‘Hot Ones’ challenge.

Created by the Youtube channel First We Feast, the ‘Hot Ones’ challenge features an interview with any celebrity who would talk to the host while eating hot chicken wings. As the chat progresses, the spice level of the wings increases and it certainly does not always end well. Superstars like Kevin Hart and Eric Andre have taken on the challenge in the past and now, Garrix is yet another victim.

The video below, which was filmed after Garrix’s monumental performance with Bebe Rexha on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’, shows the Dutch powerhouse fearlessly taking on the ‘Hot Ones’ challenge. He converses with First We Feast host Sean Evans about his music career and personal life while eating hot wings. As the Scoville units escalate, Garrix found it difficult to speak; though, he triumphantly did finish the challenge, which turned out to be an overall entertaining interview.
