Quintino X Cheat Codes – Can’t Fight It (LEV Remix)

Philadelphia-based DJ/Producer LEV has caught our attention once again with his remixing capabilities. Proud of his Ukrainian heritage, the budding talent has been more than willing to incorporate sounds and instruments from his homeland that have never been featured within the dance music before.

Finding his passion for the scene at just 15 years of age, his career has seen exponential growth and improvement over the years. Debuting on none other than Spinnin’ Records last year, he also returned to the biggest label in the scene earlier this year. Reflective of his bulging popularity and respect from some of the industry elite, his portfolio is ever-expanding.

Gaining major recognition for his crafted remix of Borgeous & Salano’s 2015 Life in Color official anthem, “Big Bang”, LEV has also impressively remixed the likes of Oliver Heldens and Shaun Frank’s hit “Shades of Grey” as well as Sam Feldt’s collaboration with Lucas & Steve, “Summer On You”.

Officially topping Beatport remix competition’s, his achievements are no mistake. Performing alongside big names such as Nicky Romero, Thomas Gold and Michael Woods, he secured his first residency at the tender age of 17 years, reflecting the caliber of his disk-jockey skills.

Putting together what may well be his best remix to date, LEV has taken on Quintino’s collaboration with Cheat Codes, “Can’t Fight It”. Keeping the tender vocal layer, the cryptic elements in the build up keep the listener guessing as to the sub-genre character of the drop. Crisp and oozing quality, the remix is certainly the most refreshing we’ve heard of the track!

Now entering a more experimental stage, LEV is sitting on a number of originals that span a multile of sub-genre’s. Also helping establish the scene in Philadelphia furthermore, you can expect to see a lot more activity from LEV in the near future.
