Axwell Λ  Ingrosso have always been very vague when discussing their debut album as a duo, giving only rough details and not making any promises in terms of a release date. But, in a surprising tweet from their manager, fans may have received the most concrete details to date.

Amy Thomson has always been closely linked with Axwell & Ingrosso, having originally managed Swedish House Mafia, being a huge part of the driving force which steered them towards success. In her work with the duo, Amy Thomson has always had the ability to keep fans intrigued, releasing details about upcoming music and shows in unique ways. One of the most intriguing campaigns involved sending out sheet music to fans prior to the release of ‘On My Way‘, where fans each received only one section of the track, increasing speculation around what the end product would sound like.

Today, Amy Thomson responded to a fan asking for details regarding the release date of the long-awaited Axwell Λ Ingrosso debut album. Stating that the album release date will be announced in January 2017 and that next year will be the biggest year yet for the duo, Amy Thomson has once again created a high level of intrigue. These are certainly the first specific details revealed about the album, and will no doubt send fans into a frenzy.
