Bougenvilla – I Got My

At this years Dancefair in Holland, Future House Music network hosted their own room where they invited many artists within the future house genre to conduct a seminar/masterclass. One of these artists was the Spinnin’ Dutch duo Bougenvilla, who are known for hits such as ‘Homeless’ and ‘Voodooz’ as well as their genre-breaking collaboration with Curbi – ‘Butterfly Effect’.

During this masterclass, Bougenvilla created a track live and attempted to get the crowd involved by including them in the creation process. This method very much helped the audience get an insight into the workflow of producers. You certainly wouldn’t expect them to carry on working on the track after the tutorial, but in fact they did. Future House Music later hosted a Facebook live video with Bougenvilla and Curbi (wasn’t a collaboration, Curbi just gave advice and his thoughts within this session) where they continued to work on the track, without the pressure of being in a room with a large audience.

The track has been entitled ‘I Got My‘ and contains some classic hard hitting future house synths in the energetic drop, making it a real future house anthem.
