Calvin Harris – My Way (Tiësto Remix)
Last September, Calvin Harris dropped his newest track titled “My Way”. The Scottish superstar’s single has been ranking high on the music charts since its release and has become one of the most played songs on numerous radio stations worldwide.
Recently, Harris’s latest production received a bass house remake from one of the industry’s most notorious masterminds, Tiësto. The Dutch legend first premiered his remix of “My Way” during his six-hour performance for the monumental 500th episode of his ‘Tiësto’s Club Life’ radio show. After passing its crowd-testing phase, Tiësto’s remix of Calvin Harris’s “My Way” is now set to be released and to take over many people’s playlists.
Similar to his past tracks “Get Down” with Tony Junior and “Infected” with Jauz, Tiësto’s rendition offers a flurry of bass house elements that could pump up an audience of any magnitude. The remix kicks off with a buildup that perfectly sets the tone for the track. Soon after, it transitions into the massive and intimidating drop that features some heavy-hitting basslines and striking deep chords.
Bridging the two climatic sequences together are Calvin Harris’s distinctive vocals that mesh nicely with Tiësto’s instrumentals. Overall, this may be something outside the box from Tiësto but it is definitely still a production that would get any crowd dancing from start to finish.
