2016 has been no question Martin Garrix’s biggest year to date, and ‘In The Name Of Love‘ has arguably been his biggest hit of the year. The track saw the youngster step away from his more typical big room sound in favour of a move toward trap and future bass, whilst still attracting some major mainstream attention. Bebe Rexha‘s spine tingling vocals added an extra dimension to the song, and now the track has received three top-class remixes courtesy of DallasK, The Him and Snavs, all of which have just been released through Garrix’s STMPD Records.
First up is DallasK, who puts a bouncy yet groovy spin on the original. Impeccably well produced, as we have come to expect from the American, he turns ‘In The Name Of Love‘ into a monster dance floor hit. With the futuristic bass synths and chopped vocals leads, this remix is guaranteed to get any club moving. DallasK has a signature of making tracks full of energy, and this release is no different.
Next up is The Him, who deliver a piano-driven house that perfectly capture the emotions of the vocals. It may be November, put this track does have a bright summer vibe, and would work perfectly at a chilled pool party. Simple but effective, overall this is a solid remix with a feel good vibe throughout.
Last but by no means least is Snavs, who brings his typical hard-hitting electro to the table in emphatic fashion. Speeding up the vocals to fit with the trap-styled beat, the perfect chord progression lead us to the innovative drop.
