It is safe to say that the dance music industry owes a lot to David Guetta. A producer who often receives some unnecessary criticism for collaborating with some of world’s biggest mainstream artists, the Frenchman has catapulted dance music into the spotlight in the process. From the early days of working with the likes of Joachim Garraud and Chris Willis at the beginning of the 2000’s, to his breakthrough album ‘One Love‘ in 2009 and follow-up chart-topping album ‘Nothing But The Beat‘ in 2011, Guetta’s rise to stardom has been nothing short of spectacular.

Behind the scenes, he has written songs for the likes of Kelly Rowland and Black Eyed Peas, been a music ambassador for the UEFA Euro 2016 Championships, and had his music featured in major films. Add in the countless ‘F**k Me I’m Famous‘ shows, the worldwide tours, the Grammy nominations, the Jack Back Record label, and it is clear to see why he is so highly respected by his fellow producers.

Today, Guetta celebrates his 49th birthday, and to celebrate the occasion, we have compiled a list of our favorite tracks from the renowned DJ. So without further ado, here are our top selections from the producer’s list of gems.
