Armin van Buuren announces second show after selling out Amsterdam Arena
Armin van Buuren is one of the most revered DJ’s and producers throughout the entire dance music scene. From his early beginnings to his career now, the Dutch legend has changed the game tremendously and has evolved into one of the industry’s biggest household names.
In celebration of his outstanding musical journey, Van Buuren is hosting one of his biggest shows to date at Amsterdam Arena on May 13th. This concert is set to mark the final chapter of the ‘Armin Only’ world tours and to take its audience back in time from Van Buuren’s first club memories to some of the trance mastermind’s classics.
Being his largest solo show in celebration of his career’s twentieth anniversary, it sold out in a staggering time of ten minutes. This event will place Van Buuren down on the history books as the first solo act to perform at the Amsterdam Arena, and better yet, selling the entire venue out. Due to the high demand from fans, Van Buuren decided to add a second show, which will be held the day before on Friday, May 12th.
Speaking about the two shows he is set to host, Armin van Buuren stated:
“It is touching that the show sold out so quickly. Amazing that so many people want to celebrate this milestone of Armin Van Buuren 20 Years – The Best of Armin Only with me so eagerly. This is the biggest my team and I have created in the past 20 years and I am really looking forward to it! We aim to make this the best show ever, and are doing everything in our power to make sure everyone will leave the arena with goosebumps. Of course I want to give everyone the chance to be present, which is why a second show seemed more than fair.”
Tickets for the shows are available for purchase here.
