Diplo shares picks for 2016’s best tracks on Diplo and Friends

With this year coming to an end, many DJ’s and producers have been compiling their favorite tracks from the past twelve months. 2016 has certainly been full of incredible music and highlighting many of dance music’s best releases, Diplo has everyone covered with his jam-packed yearmix from his radio show Diplo and Friends.

Since its first episode, Diplo and Friends has become a staple on BBC Radio 1 and has received worldwide prominence. This week’s episode certainly proves just that as Diplo includes some massive tunes ranging from hip-hop to reggae, electro house to future bass, and from trap to moombahton.

The two-hour mix consists of records from Major Lazer, including “Light It Up” and “Cold Water”, and other superstars from the likes of DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers, Dillon Francis, and Skrillex. A fair share of hip-hop tracks were also played from artists like Kanye West, Rae Sremmurd, Desiigner, and 2 Chainz.
