Hardwell’s anthem ‘Spaceman’ reaches Gold status in the US

There is no denying that ‘Spaceman‘ will always be remembered as one of Revealed Recordings‘ biggest tracks, and was certainly a game changer in Hardwell‘s career, taking his music to unforeseen heights. It therefore comes as no surprise that ‘Spaceman‘ has finally reached Gold status in the US, having sold an incredible 500,000 copies.

Released in February of 2012 during the rise of Big Room and Electro, the track still packs a bunch and causes mayhem during Hardwell’s sets even to this day. Following its release, the track was remixed by some of the biggest names in the industry, and even received a vocal edit that had mixed reviews. However, it was the original instrumental that won the hearts of so many dance music fans. Hardwell expressed his delight in a recent press release, saying “This award is the greatest Christmas gift I could think of. I think it’s amazing that ‘Spaceman’ has so many downloads in America!”
