In a 30 minute video, the 6th episode of ‘The Martin Garrix Show‘ covers a number of highlights of the young superstar’s year, following him on his journey over the last few months.

Beginning in New York prior to his performance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy FallonMartin Garrix discusses his reasoning for using a guitar on stage, explaining that he wanted to do more than just play a track as other DJs have on television shows in the past. The video continues following Martin’s journey while promoting his hit single ‘In The Name Of Love‘, including a section regarding him being signed to Sony, as he discusses the reasons behind his choice.

The video then takes a turn away from the US, as Martin Garrix arrives in Amsterdam for ADE a month later. The first stop is the fan meet & greet at the Martin Garrix pop-up store, where his new merchandise was launched at the beginning of ADE week. From this, Martin Garrix revisits his 7 songs in 7 days campaign, where he released one song per day. Martin Garrix also discusses his production masterclass, talking about his love for inspiring the next generation of producers and his openness in the studio.

Without doubt the climax of the video is perhaps the pinnacle of Martin Garrix’s career so far, being named the world’s number 1 DJ as part of the DJ Mag top 100 poll. The video follows his feelings behind the scene, showing the build up to the huge moment. What follows is a euphoric sequence showing his shows across the ADE week, with the highlight being his two solo shows at the Amsterdam RAI.

The whole video highlights the huge impact 2016 has had on Martin Garrix’s career, undoubtedly being his most successful year yet. 2016 may be over, but it looks like 2017 could be an even bigger year for the Dutch superstar.
