Premiere: Bluey – U Sure Do feat. Soulest (Makree Remix)

Inspired by the 90s classic, Bluey’s debut release ‘U Sure Do‘, featuring vocals from Soulest, puts a refreshing spin on the original track transforming it into a modern house anthem.  Following this, the track has been adapted once again, with this dynamic remix from Makree, which gives the song a new lease of life with its vibrant style.

A London born producer and DJ, Bluey has made a name for himself performing at some of the world’s most iconic clubs, including Ministry of Sound and Fabric, two of London’s most world renowned venues. Having worked with artists including Fuse ODG and Fatman Scoop as well as warming up for Akon around the world, Bluey’s career has certainly had an impressive start with a promising future ahead for the producer.

The mastermind behind this impressive remix, Latvian producer Makree, is a resident DJ at the Coyote Fly nightclub in Riga, Latvia. Having performed as the warm up DJ for artists such as Secondcity and Sigala, Makree is certainly becoming a prominent figure in the dance music industry.

The stellar remix begins completely stripped back, with the beat standing alone, before more elements of the track are introduced piece by piece, building momentum. Soon, the iconic vocals can be heard being gradually introduced into the track as it continues to build. The instantly recognizable piano riff tears into the track, injecting it with a further boost of energy, before the drop hits, taking the track even deeper with it’s heavy bassline and bouncy rhythm.

Showcasing the talent of both up and coming artists, this remix is a production masterpiece, with a quality and depth that enables it to stand out from the crowd. Emerging talents Bluey and Makree are certainly the producers to watch in the house music industry, and it appears that this is just the beginning for the two musicians.
