Premiere: Highly Sedated – Make Love

Swedish electronica band Highly Sedated have just dropped their latest masterpiece, ‘Make Love‘, a dark anthem which is set to be released on Steve Angello’s label Size Records tomorrow. Following their last release on the label ‘Got Some Water‘, the five-piece band have returned with yet another intoxicating anthem, which has been highly anticipated since it was previewed on Soundcloud earlier this month.

The thumping rhythm of this mysterious track draws the listener in from the start, while the deep voice of the male vocalist adds a further degree of mystery. Each element of the track comes together to form the masterful composition, with each vital detail engineered to perfection. ‘Make Love’ is a true showcase of the talent behind Highly Sedated and it is hardly surprising that each member has artistic roots. The band consists of two vocalists, a photographer, an art director, and a producer, which may be why the track feels like a piece of artwork as well as a piece of music.

‘Make Love’ is an exceptional production, showcasing the true talent of the band. Highly Sedated are set to make their debut on Steve Angello’s Radio 1 Residency tonight, where they are set to premiere a host of new music from their upcoming album.
