W&W’s reputed anthem “Lift Off” turns four

Renowned for their energetic studio productions, revolved around the big-room and trance sub-genre’s, W&W are arguably the most prominent Dutch DJ/Producer duo. Now firmly established as a headlining name in the industry, their released portfolio speaks volumes of their reputation and distinctive sound.

With hits such as  “Rave After Rave”, “Bigfoot” and “Thunder” helping carve a formidable path into dance music heritage, W&W have since gone on to delve into more subdued and eclectic waters. Highlighting this year by their acclaimed remix of Rihanna’s “Needed Me”, their craft and skill set was demonstrated in a new light. And with tracks such as “Caribbean Rave” and a recent hit collaboration with Hardwell “Get Down“, the duo are showing no sign of easing up.

Returning to one of their biggest tracks in celebration of its fourth anniversary, “Lift Off” was, and still remains, a powerful asset in their musical weaponry. Coming off the back of their own Trance remixes for Dash Berlin’s “Waiting” and Delerium’s “Silence”, their name was a regular feature in the Beatport Chart Top 10’s four years ago.

Composed of dominant drums, a fresh kick, and the staple serving of deep bass, the sci-fi nature of the melodic sweeps justify why it ha over 4 millions plays online.
