Avicii promises new album to be ‘the best one yet’

2016 has been a strange year by all accounts, but now it is time to look forward to the fresh start of the new year. It’s been an tough 12 months for Avicii and his fans, as the Swedish producer cancelled multiple performances before announcing his retirement from touring, as well as recently splitting from long-term manager Ash Pournouri. But thankfully the new music will continue to arrive, and Avicii has made a new years’ resolution that will certainly please fans and make up for any disappointment they might have been feeling in light of recent events.

It is no secret that Avicii certainly plans on continuing producing – just because the live shows are over does not mean the music will come to an end. If anything, this means that the Swede will have even more time and energy to put into his music. It may come as no surprise then that Avicii has pledged to make his upcoming album the ‘best damn album of my career’. Set for release this year, he took to social media to express his excitement heading into the new year for what is sure to be one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2017.
