The Chainsmokers announce upcoming debut album and 2017 ‘Memories’ tour
The Chainsmokers were set to be doing rounds in tabloids and newspapers with rumors of their upcoming album just being around the corner. As things stand, they’ve responded to Coldplay’s tweet appreciating the New York duo’s effort and output in the form of the album. In the tweet the duo, comprising of American DJs & record producers Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, dedicate the album to their fans around the world.
In addition to the above tweet the duo have also confirmed their 2017 ‘Memories Tour’. Starting from the 13th of April, the hitmaking duo will travel across the face of North America till June 10th – covering almost all accessible locations across their home country. With the kind of music that they’ve been putting out in recent times, a grand tour of sorts was what the entire setup was lacking and the Memories Tour of 2017 adds just that extra bit to make them stand out as not just great producers but also as competent and dedicated artists on stage too. With that said, the duo will also be joined on stage by special guest KIIARA and Emily Warren.
