A decade after its inception in 2007, Dubfire is now celebrating the ten year anniversary of his SCI+TEC label with a celebratory string of performances starting at the BPM Festival in Mexico.

The SCI+TEC brand has established itself as a key player at the forefront of electronic music, never ceasing to push boundaries. While adhering strictly to the concept of discovering and nurturing emerging talent, it’s seen releases or remixes from a diverse group of the world’s leading artists including Pan Pot, Brodinski, Radio Slave, Joseph Capriati, Gaiser, Miss KittinSolomun, Steve Lawler, UNKLE, Matthew Dear and even legendary Depeche Mode/Yazz/Erasure founder Vince Clarke plus Steve Angello (under his Mescal Kid monitor). And throughout the years it has hosted showcases and art exhibits around the globe, further spreading Dubfire’s vision.

SCI+TEC was launched to reflect my core sound and the discovery of emerging and established talent” is the label’s ethos and after a decade and nearly 200 releases it remains to do just that. The immeasurable impact of the label on the techno scene is a true testament to Dubfire’s ever-evolving and unique way of approaching artistry.

The new world tour will debut an entirely new stage production, created by Dub Video Connection, including a new stage design and mind-bending visuals. The design was first tested on October 2016 for the SCI+TEC stage at Dockyard Festival during Amsterdam Dance Event. After its kick-off in Playa del Carmen at BPM Festival, the tour will make stops at SXSW, The Grand Factory in Beirut, Miami Music Week and Secret Solstice in Iceland, with many more dates to be announced soon.
