Ferry Corsten celebrates 500th episode of ‘Corsten’s Countdown’ with epic 8-hour set

Enjoying its 500th episode yesterday, Ferry Corsten‘s reputed podcast ‘Corsten’s Countdown‘ celebrated the big milestone with a live show and global broadcast. Comfortably one of the longest running weekly radio shows, it has certainly stood the test of time.

Performed in Rotterdam, Ferry Corsten certainly provided a special edition of his iconic compilation podcast. Laying out over eight hours from Club Annabel, episode 500 was broadcast simultaneously to countries such as Argentina, Australia, Germany, Mexico, Russia, Spain and UK, as well as on his YouTube channel.

Requested by his fans from all over the world, the Top 3 ranking enabled an impressive selection of tracks to be compiled for the final 10 tracks, for the final hour of the broadcast.

Staring a handful of notable guests, it also included the chance to hear exclusive interviews on the airwaves from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate and many more. In turn providing a more complete listening experience of Ferry Corsten’s magic.

Teaming up with Luminosity and Ferry’s Flashover Recordings imprint, the show was followed up by a jealousy-inducing after party. Featuring the sub-genre’s hard-hitters such as Giuseppe Ottaviani (Live 2.0), Robert Nickson, Solarstone and Stoneface & Terminal, as well as Ferry Corsten himself, it was also joined by a very exclusive Gouryella special set.
