Shots fired during BPM Festival’s Closing party
Unfortunate news have reached us, as an unknown individual has opened fire during the iconic BPM Festival closing event in the early hours of January 16th.
Official reports have not been released yet, but several tweets confirm the news and mention several deaths of party-goers and a security guard.
The closing party was hosted by Elrow and held at Blue Parrot. Allegedly second instance of shootings have occurred at The Jungle, however there is no official confirmation of that yet.
Someone has come into the club in Playa Del Carmen and opened fire. 4-5 dead and many wounded. Stay in ur fuckin hotel if you're here at BPM

Representatives of other digital medias have been present at Blue Parrot and currently report to be safe. We urge everyone to stay away from said locations, to locate their friends and stay put in their hotels as official reports come in.
