Galantis – Pillow Fight (Galantis & CID VIP Mix)

Galantis have become renowned with producing tracks that sound great on both the radio and at a festival, often remixing their own songs to give them a more club-friendly vibe, and their latest anthem ‘Pillow Fight‘ is no different. Since it’s release, the original version of ‘Pillow Fight‘ has accumulated millions of streams on the likes of Spotify, YouTube and Soundcloud, been supported by some of the world’s biggest DJs, and reached the airwaves of international radio channels. And now the Swedish duo have teamed up with CID to produce an impressive VIP mix.

The track blends the original male vocal with eclectic drum patterns and a hard-edged bassline, delivering more energy but yet keeping the feel good vibe that made the original such a hit. The reimagining is a strong display of the dynamic musical connection between Galantis and CID, who toured Europe together throughout 2016. Time will only tell whether any more collaborations between the artists will emerge, but if this track is anything to go by, we’ll be in for a treat.
