Appreciated, renowned and respected within the electronic dance music industry, Hardwell has come a long way since he signed his first record deal at just 14 years old. Now double that, we take a look back on his glittering career, with a throwback to three of his finest tracks.

Having been one of electronic dance music’s most elite artists, the Revealed Recordings head-honcho has enjoyed some of the genre’s biggest track since the inception of its most recent boom. With “Apollo” and “Spaceman” defining tracks for many fans and responsible for breaking many records, and “Cobra” a iconic festival anthem, they will always situate at the top end of his extensive portfolio.

Receiving a number of edits from Hardwell himself over the past four years, each modification of “Apollo” has still upheld the reason its so loved. Going double platinum for the original version, its official video has amassed a mighty tally of over 34 million views on YouTube. In turn, reflecting Hardwell’s global appeal and the tracks status in the overall sub-genre’s history.

“Spaceman” itself will always be remembered as one of Revealed Recordings biggest tracks. Certainly a game changer in Hardwell’s career, it finally reached Gold Status in the United States late last year. And with the tracks renowned vocal topping still resonates with loyal fans today, it will no doubt feature in some of his performances for years to come.

Coming out five years ago, 2012 marked the year when Hardwell performed on the Tomorrowland main-stage in July, was named as ‘The EDM act to watch’ by MTV and also covered ground in the annual DJMag rankings to set camp at No.6. With “Cobra” acting as defining track from the 12 month period, it also served as the Energy Festival Anthem.
