Kicking off its proceedings in emphatic style is reputed label, Flamingo Recordings. Recruiting two massive talents from its roster, Funkerman and Cooperated Souls have come to together for an infectious blend of house vibes and deep house flare in “Work Your Body”. Having done the circuit as an ID for a month now, it has previously been misidentified as the work of Low Steppa and Shadow Child.

Co-founding partner of the label, Funkerman has been influencing electronic dance music for over a decade now. Coming from a background in hip hop, his nostalgic ear for soul, disco, and funk heavily influence his house, deep house and techno output. Involved in a number of projects and ventures, his touring schedule has taken his Dutch mastery to the lands of Kazakhstan and Iceland, as well as the industry hotspots of Ibiza, the UK and the USA.

On the other side of track title is emerging Dutch talent, Cooperated Souls. With over 5 million plays on Spotify, his studio craft has already seen him supported by industry elite such as Tiesto, Nicky Romero, W&W, Blasterjaxx, and many more. Seemingly popular with the esteemed DJ/Producer, Funkerman appears to be more than content with its resulting composition:

“The first collaboration we ever did was a day of fun. I like to believe the fun we had making it resonates with people. Work your body!”

Already featured by the likes of a huge list of reputed names, including NERVO, EDX, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo and Dannic you can expect “Work Your Body” to be played a few more times in the coming months. Infectious from the outset, the vocal layers has a heightened energy to the plucky piano chords and groovy bassline.
