Two of Strakton Records’ brightest talents have joined forces to remix one of Rihanna’s biggest hits. Italian producers Federico Kay and AloR return to the Switzerland-based record label to release their own rendition of Rihanna’s chart-topping 2012 single called “Diamonds”.
Prominent within the club scene, Federico Kay has also begun making a name for himself as a music producer. Last summer, Federico Kay dropped his future house production titled “DAWN!”, which successfully propelled his career toward the right direction.
His fellow Italian AloR has also been catching the attention of many people recently. Especially with tracks such as “Fuego” and “My Niggas” under his portfolio, AloR is geared to achieve tremendous success in this industry in the very near future.
For their latest production, Federico Kay and AloR teamed up and delivered their own twist to Rihanna’s song. Remixing such a massive record is not an easy task by any means, but the Italian duo has certainly exceeded many expectations with this brilliant take on “Diamonds”.
The track features Rihanna’s distinctive vocals blended with a slow chord progression. Once the chorus of the song ensues, the energy begins to build up toward the future bass drop. With its trap rhythm and heavy basslines, the climatic sequence is an absolute treat to hear, especially while going along with Rihanna’s vocals.
The remix is out now on Strakton Records and you can download a free copy here.
