The Chainsmokers – Paris (K!llswitch Remix)

Hailing from the borders of Santa Barbara in California, K!llswitch has already made an impression within the electronic dance music scene. At only 19 years of age as well, his industry resume is something to behold.

The Co-founder of Blacksheep Productions in 2013, he has continued to build from there as a label boss and studio producer. Inspired by A-trak‘s esteemed disk-jockeying back in 2009, he quickly ascended to be a renowned name within his local scene. Playing on radio stations, and even hosted some of the most notorious rave stages, K!llswitch has also graced the stages of Dirty Wasteland and Casa De La Electronica.

Drawing wider influence from the likes of Diplo, Tiesto, Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis and Hardwell, K!llswitch has certainly started to carve out his signature soundscapes. And with bold ambitions to be greater and larger, both as an artist and businessman, the future is looking bright.

Helping warm up towards his first EP, K!llswitch’s remix of The Chainsmokers latest hit, “Paris” reflects his ambition. Providing over six minutes of composition, the more down-tempo and paced layering demonstrates his portfolio’s diversification. Stripping back many of the original elements, the overall transformation shows a considered and thoughtful approach.
