Acting as one of electronic dance music’s most reputed label’s, Toolroom Records has come along way since the iconic Mark Knight founded in back in 2003. Now a trendsetter for the Techno sub-genre, it now holds a position at the forefront of scouting for new talent and at the cusp of fresh compositions.

Consistent in its output, this year is no exception. With Toolroom Records delivering their ‘BPM Sampler 2017’, the compilation of 10 tracks helps give insight to the direction of the Tech House scene for the next 12 months, and provides many of the notable tracks for the start of the year. Timed to coincide with the renowned Techno destination at the BPM Festival in the sun-kissed Playa del Carmen, the Mexican event has in recent years become one of the hottest dates in the underground dance music calendar.

Featuring a flurry of debuts on Toolroom Records itself, its new listed artists include ZDS, Martin Ikin and Enzo Siffredi, in turn conjuring up groovy and hypnotic soundscapes that are destined for festivals, club and beyond. Also joining the new members of the illustrious roster are staple acts to the imprint, such as Raumakustik, Rafa Barrios and Vangelis Kostoxenakis.

And with work from Qubiko, Made By Pete, Samuel Dan, under_score, Goncalo and Hosse rounding out the tracklist, you can certainly stand correct in expecting the 10 tune to appease your Tech House cravings, both day and night.
