3LAU confirms debut album and provides initial details

3LAU is an artist that always prompts an excited response when he announces details of his upcoming plans and activities. So many were amply pleased to say the least when he announced in typically understated form, he is putting his hand at releasing his debut album later this year.

Tipped to be available in the summer, the DJ/Producer brought the news to his loyal fan base on Tuesday via his Twitter account.

Renowned for his charitable and humanitarian side, 3LAU has also raised close to $100,000 through his Pencils of Promise charity. Aiming to empower children in the developing world through the funding of school construction, the US talent didn’t stop there.

Launching his own charity record imprint as well, the unveiling of the label titled BLUME made 3LAU the founder of  the “first not-for-profit dance music label and philanthropic movement.” A bold move for someone who has only been in the scene for close to six years.

Humble in nature, 3LAU’s music has always spoken for itself, with his name featured on the line up posters of a high number of prestigious clubs and festivals. With his latest track, “You Want More” alongside MAX the latest example of this:
