deadmau5 unveils release date and artwork for brand new album
For a few months, deadmau5 has hinted at a brand new album he is set to drop soon. The Canadian producer recently unveiled that his upcoming album titled ‘stuff i used to do.‘ will be released on February 24 on his own record label mau5trap. In addition, it was also revealed that this album will be available for a free download.
Deadmau5 had posted the album’s official cover as well, which features an artwork of a red mouse painted on a wall. Unlike his usual style of album covers, the artwork for ‘stuff i used to do.’ consists of a more aesthetic and crafty design.
Coming off the successful release of his latest album ‘W:/2016ALBUM/’, deadmau5 is set to make an immediate comeback with the release of this brand new collection. Referring to the album title ‘stuff i used to do.’, it can be speculated that most, if not all, of the tracks that will be included are productions that deadmau5 used to work on, or has finished, but just never got the chance to release.
Thus, the album will likely present a nostalgic feel with deadmau5’s classic sounds. The official tracklist for ‘stuff i used to do.’ has not been announced yet; however, a screenshot of the album’s unofficial tracklist has been circling around online, which you can check out below.
