Hunkaar – Shakedown

Hunkaar has made a significant splash since he entered the electronic dance music spotlight just over a month ago. Already with two tracks under his belt, he is already treating those lucky enough to have picked up on him with another studio production.

Evidently gifted with musical talented, Hunkaar has already achieved the title as one of Spinnin Records Talent Pool ‘Track of the Week’. Gaining the notable nod from the industry’s biggest label for his work on “Chemicals“, the fusion of bass and drawn synths with a vibrant and rhythmic foundation certainly made an impression, earning nearly 25,000 plays in just two days.

Unique in sound, his other released track, “Mysa” is a slower-tempo and melodic composition that spans nearly seven minutes. And with under 200 followers on SoundCloud, the tracks accumulation of over 50,000 plays speaks volumes on the quality and appeal of his musical flare.

Unveiling his third studio offering, the diversity of Hunkaar’s portfolio is already impressive. Now exploring the sphere’s of Future House, the thumping kick-drum and distorted chords make for an attention-grabbing introduction. Adding an infectious and catchy melody with a platter of other layers and elements, it is hard not to be prompted to remembering your initial reactions to Oliver Heldens’ first tracks.
