Martin Garrix becomes International Friend for SOS Children’s Village
Dutch superstar Martin Garrix has just been revealed as an International Friend for SOS Children’s Village, set up as a non-profit organization to aid orphaned, abandoned and other vulnerable children around the world. The organization builds families for these children, completely changing their lives.
At just 20 years of age, the Dutch DJ has already made a huge impact on the dance music industry, having been crowned as the world’s number 1 DJ by the DJ Mag poll last year. He continues to go from strength to strength, as one of the biggest figureheads in the scene. Now, following this announcement he is also using his influence for good, leading the way by making a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most.
After the announcement, Garrix traveled to SOS Village Cape Town, South Africa, where he witnessed the impacts the organization has on vulnerable children’s lives. As well as meeting the children, he also performed a short DJ set.
