On February 1, electronic music producer Zedd officially announced that he will be hosting a fundraising show called “Welcome!” in support of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Afterwards, the Russian-German superstar unveiled the Phase 1 lineup that will perform during the event.

Thus far, the concert will officially include performances from Skrillex, Imagine Dragons, Halsey, Daya, Incubus, Macklemore, Tinashe, and Zedd himself. The show will take place on April 3 inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Zedd posted on Twitter that further details and tickets for the event will be released on Thursday, February 9, which may also see the revelation of the lineup’s Phase 2. The concert is for all ages and all proceeds from ticket sales will benefit ACLU, which is a liberal organization that seeks to preserve individual rights and liberties.

As an immigrant himself, Zedd felt that he needed to stand up for what he believes is just in response to recently inaugurated U.S. President Donald Trump’s travel ban on Muslims. Rallying against the controversial executive order from Trump, Zedd recruited several artists to take part in a historic fundraising event that will support a good cause.

We will provide any further update regarding the concert once they more information arise.
