W&W reveal new trance alias ‘NWYR’ set to be unveiled at Ultra Miami

Home Uncategorized W&W reveal new trance alias ‘NWYR’ set to be unveiled at Ultra Miami

W&W are without doubt one of the biggest names in the industry right now, and it is a rare occasion that we don’t see their name featured at the top of a festival lineup. So when Ultra Music Festival announced their Phase 2 lineup last week, some confusion arose as to why the Dutch duo weren’t included. Having recently revealed that they were working on a new side project that would see them release plenty of new music, it seems that these new tracks will be premiered at next month’s Ultra Miami, as W&W perform under their new alias ‘NWYR‘.

Of course, W&W’s early trance roots have led them along the road to success to where they now find themselves today, having only made the switch to big room in the early 2010’s. And what has made their music so successful is how they combine the upbeat melodic elements of trance with the intensity of electro and progressiveness of house, so trance music fans will be happy to learn that NWYR will see Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst return to their roots in what is set to be one of the highlights of Ultra. And to make things even better, the pair aren’t the only producers experimenting with a new stage name, as the likes of Arty and Sander van Doorn can also be found hidden in the line up. This news will only add to trance fans excitement, as last week they discovered that Arty will be returning to his Alpha 9 alias.

With only a few weeks left to go until MMW kicks off, this is looking like it could be one of the best Ultra’s yet.
