Zedd & Alessia Cara – Stay

Zedd has become without doubt one of the biggest names in the industry, and having broken into the mainstream through a series of collaborations with the likes of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, he is looking to cement his position as a household name. This time he teams up with Canadian superstar Alessia Cara, best known for her work “Wild Thing”, “Scars to Your Beautiful” and “Here”. Drawing inspiration from progressive, dubstep, and even classical music, the now 27 year old German producer continues to release award worthy music, and even since winning the Billboard Music Awards top Electronic album for True Colors at 2016’s ceremony, he has showed no signs of slowing down.

“Stay” is equipped with high energy and lyrical undertones from the outset, and is no doubt destined for commercial success and obvious festival play this upcoming season. With Alessia’s silky voice and lyrics to match, the match is that of musical heaven, as Zedd delivers a funky future bass groove to compliment the strong vocals. As we have come to expect from the German, the mix is as close to perfection as you’re likely to find. Altogether, these musical elements provide a riveting experience for the listeners and prove the type of talents Zedd truly possesses in music production, whilst highlighting Cara’s spine-tingling vocals in the process.
