Alan Walker – Alone (Lost Frequencies Remix)

Home Uncategorized Alan Walker – Alone (Lost Frequencies Remix)

Lost Frequencies is back in business with yet another astonishing production. Recently, the Belgian artist unveiled his latest remix of Alan Walker‘s 2016 hit titled “Alone“, featured on the impressive remix package for what was another huge hit for the Norwegian.

Since entering the dance music scene, Lost Frequencies has quickly blossomed into one of the industry’s most successful DJ’s and producers. Hosting his own stage at Tomorrowland for the second year running, his live performances and overall music productions skills have gone from strength to strength. On this occasion, he opts to keep the chords and overall atmosphere of the original in tact. At almost 7 minutes long, the Belgian producer makes use of airy synthesizer toplines and vintage undertones which combine nicely with moving strings to create a vibrant piece of music. The stuttering chopped vocals will be stuck in your head all day, adding a funky dimension to the rhythm.

Taking a more organic direction for the introductory sequence, it steadily rises with plunging chords, teasing for its tropical progression. Chopping soft guitar plucks with an underlay of warped synth, it makes for a rather fulfilling remix, and certainly does the original justice. With his announcement that he will be joining The Chainsmokers on their “Memories” Arena Tour around the US, we can’t wait to hear him drop this live over the coming months.
