Already one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the coming summer, Swedish giants Axwell Λ Ingrosso are set to headline their own London show at Creamfields iconic new venue, The Steel Yard, during the May bank holiday. Now, the event has taken on a whole load of extra spice with a simply mammoth supporting cast announced for the former Swedish House Mafia heavyweights.
Joining Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso will be both Third Party, and Martin Solveig. It will be the second time the duo have supported the Swedes in the Steel Yard, having joined them for their Liverpool show back in November 2016. Also announced are dance legends Faithless, who will be sure to ensure the people of London suffer a dose of “Insomnia”, and Don Diablo, who has been making huge strides in the dance world over the past few years, launching his very own Hexagon label, and rising to up to #15 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 list.
The event will take place on Sunday 28th May at London’s Victoria Park, inside the metal dome structure that first launched at 2016’s Creamfields festival. Since then, the venue has earned rave reviews for its innovative design, and whopping capacity. Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s show will come 24 hours after Eric Prydz headlines the same venue, completing a full ‘Swedish weekend’ for the people of the UK. The gig will kickstart yet another exciting summer for the duo, who are scheduled to headline the mainstage at Ultra Music Festival in Miami next weekend, and have two New York shows already lined up over the coming days.
With tickets still available for this event, be sure you nip in NOW to grab your place at one of the hottest dates in the 2017 dance calendar before they inevitably sell out. Taking to social media earlier to announce the news, Ingrosso tweeted the following:
