In their live sets over the past couple of years, Axwell Λ Ingrosso have been playing an ID, reported to be a collaboration between them and Norwegian producer Years, earning it the nickname ‘Years ID‘. The ID has undoubtedly been one of the duo’s most anticipated productions, with fans asking for its release date across social media, ever since it was first played live.

However, Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s manager Amy Thomson has confirmed via Twitter that the ID will never be released, stating that it is only a live track. As soon as the tweet was posted, Thomson faced a huge backlash from fans, who state that it is a mistake by both the duo and their management not to release the much-loved ID.

The news is certainly crushing for many of the die-hard Axwell /\ Ingrosso fans, who have been waiting for this ID for a very long time. It comes as no surprise that this news was not received well, due to the track being a progressive masterpiece with an emotional and compelling melody. If Axwell /\ Ingrosso & Years had chosen to release the track, there is no doubt that it would’ve been a universally loved anthem.
