Eric Prydz teases hologram video for his Epic 5.0 show

Eric Prydz has always been a trailblazer in the music industry. At the forefront of technology and touring, Prydz is using astounding holographic projections on the road this year. His Epic 5.0 show will be held in London on May 27th and features a dazzling blend of his music and state-of-the-art tech. Taking to Facebook to give fans a glimpse of what he has in store, Prydz shared a video of a hologram with a graphic 3D head that spins slowly, revealing several points literally projecting into space.

An already sold out event, Eric Prydz has chosen the revolutionary Steel Yard arena to host his largest set to date Epic 5.0. According to the official press release, the hologram is the largest in existence for show productions. The venue itself promises a capacity a staggering 30% larger than Madison Square Garden in New York City. Considering its grand scale, it’s no wonder Prydz christened the series of shows with the Epic moniker.

Eric Prydz is very much in demand today as he was when “Call On Me” became a classic. His March tour dates were sold out, and he even has some B2B shows with Deadmau5 coming up this year. The pairing couldn’t get any better—not only have they perfected the art of production, they also share a love of incorporating technology into live performances.
