English alternative rock band Gorillaz have announced their first North American tour since 2010. Lining up alongside FlumeDVBBS and Metallica, they’ll kick off their tour at the Quebec City Summer Festival for its 50th anniversary. They’ve also announced that they’ll be performing at their own Demon Dayz Festival in Margate, England.

The band recently announced their first album since 2010 called ‘Humanz’, which is set to be released on April 28 2017. The standard edition, which will consist of 20 tracks, will feature notable artists such as Pusha T, and D.R.A.M, and De La Soul, whom the band collaborated with on what was their most successful track, “Feel Good Inc.”. There will also be a deluxe version of the album which will feature an extra 6 tracks.

Their previous albums include ‘Gorillaz’ (2001), ‘Demon Days’ (2005), ‘Plastic Beach’ (2010), and ‘The Fall’ (2010). Their most successful album, ‘Demon Days’ outperformed its predecessor by entering the UK charts at #1, and the US charts at #6. The single “Feel Good Inc.” won a Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration at the 2006 Grammy Awards. The album consisted of other notable singles such as “Dirty Harry”, which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2006 under the “Urban/Alternative Performance” category and “El Mañana”.

Recently, Gorillaz co-founder Damon Albarn, announced that 4 tracks from their new album would be premiered via radio. 2 tracks called “Saturnz Barz” and “Andromeda” were both premiered on BBC Radio 1, while the UK’s Radio X debuted tracks “We’ve Got the Power” and “Ascension”. Underneath is the track “Andromeda” which was remixed by Chinese-American DJ/Producer ZHU.
