Home Uncategorized Mako’s Logan Light announces absence for most of ‘Hourglass’ Live Tour

In the midst of their ‘Hourglass‘ Live Tour across North America, Los-Angeles-based duo Mako have revealed some unfortunate news regarding one of their members Logan Light. Recently on social media, Light announced that he will be stepping away for a majority of the tour due to several factors.

On a hand-written letter to Mako’s fans, Light felt that his duties as a DJ have decreased in capacity because of the group’s transition into a live band for the tour. Although, Light did state that Mako is currently in ‘good hands’ with his partner Alex Seaver in charge of the musical performances.

Light had also mentioned that he will be absent for most of the tour due to personal reasons. He said that he does not want his personal life to negatively affect the group and simply needs to take some time off for himself to “relax, recoup, and recharge”.

Despite Light’s absence, Mako will still continue their ‘Hourglass’ Live Tour, with remaining stops including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and Philadelphia. Tickets are still available for purchase on Mako’s website here.
