With the whirlwind of hype surrounding Ed Sheeran in the media at the moment, there has also emerged a rather saddening piece of news to come out the topic. Having worked with Martin Garrix over two years ago now, many fans are still waiting for the track to be released. However, the likelihood of that occurring is few and far between now.

Admitting the track’s likely fate, the Dutch DJ/Producer’s latest interview in his home nation brought spotlight on to the collaborations consequential material. Known as “Rewind Repeat It“, it has emerged two versions of the track were penned by the world’s No.1 DJ. Premiering both compositions at Ultra, one year after the other, its potential will sadly only be hypothesized for the foreseeable future.

“It’s all label issues and a lot of headaches…It was going to be an official track, so we postponed all my other singles, but the label delayed the track because they wanted to release other tracks from Ed first. At one point, it was two years ago, I didn’t release a radio single for five, six months. So, then you get annoyed. So, I don’t think we’re ever going to release the track.”

During the interview, Martin Garrix also talks goes on to discuss working with Justin Bieber, a budding new romance with his rumored girlfriend, and other topics his loyal cohort of fans will undoubtedly like.
