Attempting to gain membership momentum against their streaming counterparts, Spotify and Apple Music, Soundcloud is again offering specialty perks for their paying clients. Since the launch of Soundcloud Go, an investing opportunity for members to avoid commercial ads, increase upload options, listen offline, and integrate licensed music, the company has seen some fluctuation in enrollment, but not enough for its overall profit to exceed that of years prior. As of today, the company has officially recently decided to expand its elite program.

Being Soundcloud’s premier membership is invite only, they’ve now announced they’ll be opening the doors to more invites, and allowing those who wouldn’t normally get an offer, to finally upgrade.

“Beginning today, DJs and producers who create sets, remixes and other forms of creative works will now be invited to join our SoundCloud Premier program, and earn revenue for the tracks they share on SoundCloud. While the Premier program remains invite-only for the moment, we are increasing the number of people invited every day. You can let us know you’re interested in participating by signing up here.”

The company is also seeking new investors, since it’s profit has fallen 40% because of recent strike attacks and copyright take downs. Although Soundcloud hasn’t revealed its incoming profit since 2008, it has informed readers it’s revenue is up 20% thanks to Soundcloud Go.
