Teamworx – Around The World

Assured to be one of the most prominent releases on Nicky Romero‘s Protocol Recordings, Teamworx track around ‘Around The World‘ was undoubtedly a dominant number ever since it surfaced as part of Mantrastic & Teamworx Binding Radio set some 2 years ago. Interest in the track was revived after it featured as part of Thomas Feelman & Teamworx set at Fonk Recordings Label Night at ADE in October 2016. The question had become more of a when rather than an if, regarding the release of the track. And with label head honcho Nicky Romero announcing Protocol’s Miami 2017 compilation release, Teamworx have found a perfect slot to let the much awaited track see the light of the day. Released amidst few of the best tracks that the top notch artists roster of Protocol has to offer, ‘Around The World’ is unmistakably atop one and all in the Miami Exclusive compilation from the label.

The track kicks off with a cluster of thumping beat-work which in turn lays down the blueprint for the rest of the track. Vocal snippets remain prominent in the track, making their first appearances at the starting few seconds of the song. The track’s break is laced with a euphoric melody – it remains important to note that the melody is special in so much so that it transports the listeners instantly to the beach sand – accompanied by the same detailed vocal snippets. A scintillating build-up, thoroughly engaging and intensifying, accompanied by a crystal clear beat-work characterizing the production skills behind the desk lead us to the track’s attractive ‘drop’.
