Home Uncategorized Coachella Festival releases set times for the first weekend

Coachella Festival is set to take place this weekend in the heart of California for its first weekend out of two. The festival released its line up earlier this year on the 3rd of January, revealing the headliners as British band Radiohead, American pop star Beyonce and rap legend Kendrick Lamar. There were also plenty of electronic dance music DJs on the bill too, perhaps more than ever before. This includes the likes of Dillon Francis, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix and the final performance of Porter Robinson and Madeon’s collaborative project.

Dillon Francis will be closing the Sahara stage on the Friday night, straight after an Empire Of The Sun performance which are always out of this world. Sam Gellaitry will be performing the latest show of the Friday night and I strongly recommend you see him if you can as Gellaitry has constantly been referred to as a “one to watch” by Zane Lowe.

On the Saturday night, DJ Snake will close the Outdoor Theatre stage and will start his set just as Martin Garrix ends his set, so there may have to be some running involved if you want to see both and see as much as possible!

Last but not least is the Sunday, Marshmello will close the Sahara stage just after Galantis. Closing the Gobi Stage will be What So Not with Jai Wolf performing a couple of hours before. Porter Robinson and Madeon will take to the main stage at 7:00 right before Lorde.
