International Music Summit College returns to Malta

With an ethos of  ‘learn by day, party by night’, International Music Summit has announced its return for a summer camp on the Mediterranean island of Malta. Following the successful debut year, the educational program returns with its two-day intensive learning experience. Having annual industry summits in Shanghai, Los Angeles, and Ibiza, IMS is celebrating their tenth year of connecting the global electronic music community.

The crash course in electronic music offers a curated program of networking sessions, keynotes, panels, workshops, and key figureheads across the music industry. Over the two days, the IMS series gives a 360, face-to-face learning experience from business management to creative processes. Emerging industry professionals and students benefit from the highly useful, affordable and practical introduction to electronic music with attendees gaining rare insights into every aspect of the industry.

For this year, International Music Summit College – Malta is partnering with Point Blank Music School, a leading music production institute. The school will provide a host, masterclasses, and instructors for one of the two days over the weekend.

While the sun draws out the day, the night embraces special performances from a selection of world leading artists. Hosting the opening event, and rightly so with a career in electronic music spanning well over 30 years, is none other than German producer and DJ Sven Väth, the innovator behind Cocoon. Joining Sven on Friday night will be InFiné record label founder DJ Agoria. On Saturday Todd Terry, a founding father to the sound of house music joins the festivity. Rounding out the weekend is Hot Creations and British producer Richy Ahmed.
