Kazantip has been revamped as GEM Fest, an epic 32-day festival with 500 headliners, running from July 14 to August 14, 2017. Set on the beautiful tropical-like shores of the Black Sea in the Republic of Georgia, GEM Fest will take place at Anaklia, a beach sporting Europe’s largest pedestrian bridge. Promising five stages, a panoply of food vendors, and a tent-city for 10,000 called Gem City, the redesigned festival will even feature Burning Man-like art installations. Nine different arenas will feature an array of genres of electronic dance music, boasting more than 3,000 performances over the month long run of the festival.

Among the performers slated for the festival are industry heavyweights such as #1 DJ Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, and Sander van Doorn.  Axwell Λ Ingrosso are also on the roster of this massive festival. Tickets to see your favourite artists spin are reasonably priced, with regular passes and VIP packages running between €152-€378. If fans can’t make time away from work this summer, one day tickets are also available for purchase. Organizers offer an array of transportation options, including an exclusive Gem Fest Party Bus, with passes available on their website.

Eastern Europe has a burgeoning EDM scene, and countries in the region are steadily becoming destinations for festival-goers worldwide. Croatia’s stunning Mediterranean beaches are something of a best-kept secret, and the Black Sea coast in Georgia sports attractive beach resorts for vacationers. It’s unsurprising the summer festival season would start popping up in these regions, with organizers capitalizing on the sunshine and mild temperatures.
