ODESZA has returned. After a lengthy hiatus, the Seattle duo released two new tracks ‘Line of Sight’ and ‘Last Night,’ with the hopes of a full album soon to be on its way.

The duo’s last album, ‘In Return,’ was released nearly three years ago to critical acclaim. Records like ‘Say My Name’ and ‘Bloom’ grabbed the attention of listeners for their soft, rhythmic hooks. Creating an emotional environment that is meant to be heard live, their performances have been extremely popular on the festival circuit the past couple years, hitting festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, and
Mysteryland.

Returning to the studio to bring new music, their first new single, ‘Line of Sight,’ pairs the uplifting vibes from previous ODESZA tracks with infectious vocals. The combination of synths with their signature percussion takes off after the chorus with a bouncing beat. With the summer just around the corner, ODESZA has just released a record that has the potential to be one of the largest of the season.

‘Last Night,’ the second track released by the Seattleites, has been eagerly awaited by fans after being debuted last year. ‘Last Night’ has a more familiar feel to fans, focusing on a grooving beat to pair with drums and synths. The record’s soft tone allows for the listener to be swept away in the music.

The combination of ‘Line of Sight’ and ‘Last Night’ is extremely encouraging for ODESZA fans. With the summer just around the corner and the pair slated to appear at numerous festivals this summer, it will be incredible to see these songs integrated into their performances. Hopefully, more new music is on the way, perhaps that ‘Make Me Feel Better’ remix.
